Gramma Pollock's French Toast

The only recipe I ever got out of my grouchy gramma. Come to think of it, I don't remember her ever cooking 'cept for this -- the first time I ever had it was when my mom was in the hospital having my brother and I resisted kicking and screaming...

Ingredients:

1/3 c Milk
1/2 t Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
1/4 t Salt
4 Slices Bread

Preparation:

Mix everything but bread together and dip bread, cooking on a
griddle over medium heat.
