SCI 10a -- Beginning mixology
|
|
The fundamental liquors and drinks are covered in this lab-oriented course.
Topics include rum, vodka, whiskey, gin, well drinks and highballs. 4 Credits.

SCI 10b -- Advanced mixology
|
|
Prerequisite: SCI 10a. More advanced drink topics are covered such as the
kamikaze, a good martini, magic jello, and popular bar drinks such as
Long Island teas. 4 Credits.

SCI 10c -- Improvised mixology
|
|
Prerequisite: SCI 10b. Sometimes what you have on hand simply won't make
anything anybody's heard of. Learn how to make it into something drinkable
that won't make people gag. Lab only. 2 Credits.

SCI 25 -- Hangover chemistry
|
|
Discussion into the various causes and remedies of hangovers, including
hangover resolution, food choices, hydration and movie selection. 2
Credits. 1 Lab credit available if taken in conjunction with SCI 10a, b or c.

ART 18 -- Beer bong construction
|
|
Various methods and techniques will be discussed in the construction of a
number of styles of beer bongs, from simple funnel and tube construction to
the more complex valved and even blown glass bongs. 3 Credits. Lab course.

ART 19 -- Water pipe construction
|
|
Who wants a simple bong when one could create a work of art? Materials,
decoration and proper dynamics will be taught to make a usable water pipe. 2
Credits. Lab course.

|
ART 25 -- Improvised pipe construction
|
|
At times, the proper materials simply aren't available for pipe
construction and you've got to make do. Materials covered include
toilet-paper tubes, soda cans, apples and water bottles. 2 Credits. Lab Course.

BUS 38 -- Middle Management
|
|
The most seriously titled course at BVU, it is also one of our few courses
that will give you career-oriented skills. Unlike line managment, you'll
never actually have to do any hands-on work, and unlike senior management you
won't have to make any hard decisions. In a perfect world, all you'll have
to do is hide from meetings and collect fat paychecks! 3 Credits.

BUS 42 -- Party purchasing
|
|
Can you really buy a twelve pack per person and have enough left over for
some chips and three 40-ozs? Of course you can. This course covers beer
math, redemption calculations, alcohol-to-money ratios, proof-to-money ratios
and foolproof point-of-purchase methods. 4 Credits.

COM 18 -- Parental communications
|
|
In a perfect world we could just ask our parents for money and they'd give it
to us. This class teaches techniques, methods, sure-fire stories and
beleivable ass-kissing to ensure top-dollar. 3 Credits.

COM 21 -- Police communications
|
|
At times it does become necessary to discuss matters with the po-po. This
class covers excuses, sobriety checkpoints, minor possession and speeding
discussions with emphasis on role playing. 2 Credits.

COM 24 -- Landlord relations
|
|
Unfortunately we live in a capitalist society. Learn to live in some state
of harmony with your evil landlord or management company. 3 Credits.
