After several of the founding fathers of Bear Valley University graduated from college with their respective degrees, they soon discovered that it wasn't so much the degree itself so much as the fact that one had gone to school and completed it that mattered to prospective employers.
Employers don't have the time to wait for transcripts to come rolling in, and they really don't give a damn whether or not the school was accredited. They might go so far as to make sure the school exists, but really, they're as lazy as the next guy, and really don't want to give up too much time to tracking down this nonsense.
Now, many families feel that it is important for their children to get a good education, and are willing to pay quite handsomely. Most children, for their part, really want to just get away and not have to enter the workaday world for a few years while keeping Mom & Dad happy.
With these three immutable facts in mind, Bear Valley University was founded with the following mission:
It is the mission of Bear Valley University to provide a safe haven away from the frightening prospect of getting "real" jobs as long as it is humanly possible--for both students and educators. We strive to get as much of our student's parent's money as possible before subjecting both student and educator to harsh economic realities.
We think that you'll agree that these goals are both noble and obtainable.
