Attendance
Attendance at all classes is strictly optional. The exception to this rule is Family Day, when all students are expected to attend class and be promptly on time. Students are reminded that this is the occasion that their parents will be solicited for money and that their continued stay at BVU is dependant on this event.

Dress code
Attire worn should not induce immediate attempts at fornication on the part of fellow students. After all, this is a place of education, not a brothel. The exception to this rule is Family Day when all students are directed to report to the costume shop for outfitting in school blazers and pants or skirts (ladies only). Remember that proper attire on Family Day provides a good image for the school and that this is the occasion that their parents will be solicited for money. Family members should believe that this is a good investment--groom accordingly.

Grading
All students will be graded on a B+/A- grading schedule with grades to be determined as follows:
Heads -- A-
Tails -- B+
Any grading disputes can be taken up with the academic senate for a "best out of three" or "call it in the air" hearing at the student's request.

Open containers/Alcohol policy.
Please be respectful of your fellow students, the university and it's grounds' staff by placing empty beer cans and bottles in their proper receptacles.

Degree candidacy
Degrees are awarded to all students maintaining at least a "C" average in their course work as follows:
4 years -- Bachelor of Arts
5 years -- Bachelor of Science (in place of BA)
6 years -- Master's
7 years -- Master's with second BS
8 years -- PhD
