9 January 2002 It feels like pool season is right around the corner here in Northern California, Sacramento anyways. Today was warm and sunny and it seemed liked the weather could last forever. I know this is the fickle hand of NorCal weather playing its seasonal trick on me -- soon enough we'll be deluged with rain (hopefully) before the spring. Still, I was out there bearing my pale flesh before the sun gods so as not to look like this next August: ![]() In pool-specific news the winter was pretty light -- more leaves than last year but still fairly manageable. We got a little (aherm) algea kickup again of the green variety that was easily shocked out of existence. Its time to start testing the water again and keeping the chemicals up. We're a little high on the Ph which is easy to fix and everything else balances OK. We're looking forward to seeing all of you this summer. Last year I -tried- to keep Sundays free for anybody who wanted to drop by and get a little sun or whatever and I'll try to do so again this year. If its hot, give us a call. We find it hard to refuse anyone bringing beer by ;) See you this summer...I think its gonna be a good one. Until then, B |
